We will check the system run time against correctly calculated run times based on actual ET calculations for each zone that factors in location, soil type, existing slopes, plant type and density, sun exposure, sprinkler type and root-depth requirements. We will make new recommendations for run times based on these calculations and that will comply with the new 2010 standards.

Fees for commercial properties are based on what we are able to save you the customer in water and money. We charge a percentage of what we save you. A much greater percent of the savings are yours to keep. Rates are based on the scope of the job and are not published here for obvious reasons.

Fees for residential properties are based on quantity of audits needed and on a per property basis so there are no unexpected costs.

2010 Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance

January 2010 local agencies, as required by law, will adopt the updated Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance or one that is "at least as effective as".

Some snapshots of the ordinance:

Cities and counties shall prevent water waste by prohibiting
runoff, low head drainage, overspray etc…

Water use will be limited by plant type and square footage of area planted.

A project's Maximum Applied Water Allowance shall be calculated using the following formula: MAWA = (ETo)(0.8)(LA)(0.62)

All our water conservation work and analysis is done according to the new
2010 Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance and
EPA’s Water Sense Program Guidelines.
